Our Story
In the year of 2008, Ashley embarked on a magical journey as a photographer, driven by a heartfelt promise to capture every precious moment of her darling daughter, Alexis' life. The seeds of this dream were sown after the heartache of losing her first child in 2005. Fast forward to the present day, where Alexis bloomed into a sweet 16-year-old, and she envisioned a celestial celebration under a starlit sky. Thus, the notion of an elegant greenhouse was born, and we embraced this ethereal idea, laboring tirelessly to transform her dreams into a wondrous reality.
At the heart of this fairy tale creation stands my dear dad, the true unsung hero, meticulously crafting the structure with his own hands—cutting, nailing, and screwing each piece together. The rest of us, a trio of strong and devoted ladies, stood by his side, offering unwavering support. Together, we lovingly carried the wood, painted it with care, and placed every tool he needed right in his steady hands. Our collaborative efforts culminated in the birth of a stunning sanctuary—
The Swan House.
Aptly named, The Swan House symbolizes Alexis' graceful transformation into a radiant young lady. Like a flourishing garden, the greenhouse embodies hope, beauty, and above all, the enduring power of love. Alexis was undoubtedly heaven-sent, and we believe that the greenhouse, too, is a divine gift. With hearts full of warmth, we have decided to share this enchanted space with kindred spirits who will cherish and embrace its profound symbolism.
As you step into The Swan House, prepare to be transported to a world veiled in crystal enchantment. It is a place where dreams and reality intertwine, and where every moment is adorned with magic. Q: Can I use this space for events?
A: Absolutely! You're more than welcome to host your events here. We love celebrating special moments, and this space is perfect for small gatherings like birthday parties, tea parties, bridal showers, baby showers, micro-weddings, elopements, and much more! The current occupancy limit is 25 people, so it's perfect for intimate gatherings.
Q: What days are available?
A: We're here to accommodate your needs! The Swan House is generally available for booking, except on holidays. Just let us know the dates you're interested in, and we'll do our best to work with you.
Q: Is A/C, heating, water, and electricity available?
A: Yes, we've got you covered! Our space is equipped with air conditioning, heating, and essential utilities like water and electricity to ensure your comfort during your event.
Q: Do you provide food and beverages?
A: While we don't offer food and beverages directly, you have the flexibility to bring your own or hire a catering company that suits your preferences. We want you to have the freedom to curate the perfect menu for your guests.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Don't worry! The Swan House is properly enclosed, so rain won't dampen your event. However, we understand that unexpected changes can happen, and we offer the option to reschedule if needed. Just let us know within 48 hours of your event, and we'll work with you to find a suitable alternative date.
Q: Do you offer photography?
A: Absolutely! We have our talented on-site photographer, Ashley, whose fantastic work can be seen in the galleries. If you prefer another photographer of your choice, you're welcome to book them as well. There's a nominal fee of $100.00 for this service, and it doesn't include your chosen photographer's charges for their time and photos.
Q: Do you provide decorations?
A: You have the freedom to make your event uniquely yours! You can bring your own decorations to add a personal touch. Alternatively, if you'd like some assistance, we can provide decoration services at an additional cost. Just let us know your preferences, and we'll make sure your space looks fabulous.
Q: Can I schedule a tour?
